Permits are required for virtually every renovation or new construction project. For private clients, this can be a complex and costly process, as various rules and procedures are involved.

We take as much of this process off your hands as possible. This starts with conducting a permit check, followed by applying for an environmental permit and preparing all the necessary documents. We also assist with the process before architectural review boards when a design must be assessed for its spatial quality.

When a property has historic preservation value, we also handle the necessary historic preservation permits. In addition, we gather and document technical supporting data such as daylight calculations, ventilation requirements, structural analyses, and insulation values.

By coordinating these processes and liaising with municipalities, consultants and other stakeholders, we ensure that the project remains clear, manageable and predictable throughout.
